This Arsenal attacker advised to leave Emirates Stadium
Former Arsenal star, Freddie Ljungberg, has sent a message to Reiss Nelson on his future at the club.
Ljungberg urged Nelson to exit Arsenal in the upcoming summer transfer window as he believes the attacker doesn’t get chances to play regularly for Arsenal.
Nelson has struggled for game time since returning from loan at Feyenoord in the summer of 2022.
The right-footed attacker is rated below the likes of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli in Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta’s pecking order.
Speaking recently to the Premier League Productions, Ljungberg said:
“They [Arsenal owners] kept Bukayo and Martinelli.
“They are top players. [Emile] Smith Rowe has had some injuries.
“I think Reiss Nelson doesn’t get the chances that he maybe needs and should move to get a career. But the rest of it is gone.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal will return to action this weekend when they host Brentford at Emirates Stadium.
