Six players Arsenal could sell in January
Arsenal have emerged as one of the clubs to watch in the EPL this season.
This is because, despite their poor start, the Gunners under coach Mikel Arteta have undergone a revival that has seen them move from the bottom of the table to the fifth spot at the moment.
If they continue with the same pace, Arsenal could return to the top four spots and finally return to European football next season.
However, a recent has revealed the club could undergo massive changes in the coming January transfer window, with the reports suggesting that the Gunners could sell six of their players.
The majority of these players would see their contract end in the summer, and the Gunners are ready to sell them off instead of losing them for free in the summer.
According to football.london, Alexandre Lacazette and Bernd Leno are among the senior players who could be on their way out, even though the former has fought his way back into the first team.
The report added that Eddie Nketiah, Sead Kolasinac, Mohamed Elneny and Folarin Balogun could also seek pastures new, with the latter recently admitting that he would be open to a departure.
Nketiah, Elneny and Kolasinac are also due to become free agents at the end of the campaign, while Leno’s deal expires in 2023.
