Saka reacts to goal Vs Tottenham
Arsenal star Bukayo Saka returned to action for the Gunners on Sunday when they played Tottenham in a North London derby.
Saka found his name on the scoreboard in the 3-2 win set some new record in Arsenal’s history.
He is now the first Arsenal player to score in both north London derbies in a single season since Alexandre Lacazette in 2019/20.
Saka is also the first Englishman to score in two North London derbies since Ian Wright in 1993/94.
A highlight saw Kai Havertz found Saka with a long pass, who then twisted past Ben Davies, before scoring the second goal for Arsenal.
So far Saka has scored 15 Premier League goal this season with 33rd goal involvement in all competitions.
He has scored 57th career goal for the Gunners, and is now their 42nd top-scorer.
“I really enjoyed that goal,” he said. “It’s nice to score home and away as an Arsenal guy, we love this fixture. I’m buzzing.”
Aside from Saka, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg gave Arsenal the lead when he headed in an own goal, former Chelsea star Kai Havertz headed in a corner to make it three goals for the Gunners.
