Relief as Arsenal manager provide injury update on Saka and Odegaard

Arsenal have received majors boost with regards to Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard after their scan results emerged.
This comes as the outcome of the scan suggested that Saka and Odegaard didn’t suffer long-term injuries despite both being substituted during the Gunners’ 5-0 win over Leeds United.
Recall that Odegaard was substituted in the first half with a shoulder injury while Saka was removed in the second half over a suspected hamstring injury.
Reacting to the injuries in a post-match statement, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said he thought the injury to Saka was “significant”, but those fears were eased with sources saying neither player will be out for a substantial period.
Recall that the English winger sustained a serious injury to his right hamstring last season, leaving him on the sidelines for four months.
However, the injury he picked up in Saturday’s match is not on the same leg.
So far, Kai Havertz, is the key player who has been ruled out with a knee injury.
Aside from Havertz, Christian Norgaard and Gabriel Jesus were also missing in actio match against Leeds.
Meanwhile, Arsenal will make a trip to Liverpool in the Premier League come Sunday, August 31.
