Premier League side eager to sign this Arsenal’s youngster

Arsenal might not be willing to have William Saliba in their team next season, but some clubs in Europe, including Newcastle United, are eager to add him to their squad.

William Saliba arrived at the Emirates in 2019 from Saint-Etienne but was immediately returned to the club on loan.

Despite his performance for Saint-Etienne, he spent the second half of last season out on loan at Nice and might not play for Arsenal this season.

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Brighton & Hove defender Ben White and reports claimed that the deal would be completed in the next few days.

Saliba is now set for another loan move for the 2021-22 campaign, as he will be an out-of-favour choice for Mikel Arteta.

According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle are now the latest club to show their interest in signing Saliba despite reports that Lille are also willing to have him in their squad.

Arsenal might be thinking of sanctioning a deal that will bring Saliba to Newcastle United as he’s not had a taste of Premier League football.

Saliba scored one goal in 22 appearances across all competitions for Nice during his short loan spell.
