Premier League clubs issued warning about Arsenal striker Gyokeres

Arsenal star William Saliba has sent a message to defenders in the English Premier League about the Gunners newest signing and striker Viktor Gyokeres.

Recall that recent completed the signing of Gyokeres, who joined them in a deal worth €63.5million (£54.8m) – plus €10m (£8.6m) in add-ons.

So far, the striker makes it six players the North London have signed this summer after Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard, Noni Madueke, Martin Zubimendi and Cristhian Mosquera.

Gyokeres has been tipped to make his first appearance for Arsenal in their upcoming friendly with North London neighbours Tottenham on Thursday.

Manager Mikel Arteta also hinted that fans may have to be a little more patient to witness performance for the first time.

Saliba believes the presence of Gyokeres at Arsenal is a boost to the squad as they prepare to compete for Premier League title, among others, next season.

According to Saliba, it is scary playing against the Gunners new frontman.

“We know how good he is, it’s scary to play against him,” Saliba told Hayters TV.

“Of course, I’m so happy to have him in my club, and I’m sure that he will help us to win games and win trophies.”
