Martinelli names Arsenal star who can’t be replaced

Arsenal forward, Gabriel Martinelli in a recent statement spoke highly of his teammate and winger Bukayo Saka.

Martinelli described Saka as “one of the best players in the world”.

According to the Gunners striker, there is no player in the Gunners squad, who can replace Saka.

This comes as the English winger remained on the sidelines over an injury. and is not expected to be back in action in the next few months.

Recall that Saka sustained a hamstring injury while in action for Arsenal in their Premier League win at Crystal Palace in December.

While the England international has since undergone surgery, he is at a recovery stage.

With Saka away from the team, some former Arsenal players including Emmanuel Petit urged Martinelli to step up his performances for Mikel Arteta’s side as the season continues.

While speaking via TNT Sports, Martinelli stated that he and his teammates will do everything possible to help Arsenal in Saka’s absence.

“We trust in ourselves and we will try our best for the club,” Martinelli assured.

Meanwhile, Martinelli alongside Gabriel Jesus and Mikel Merino won three points for the North London club in the first game of the year 2025 as they defeated Brentford 3-1.
