Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is preparing to give 17-year-old Bendito Mantato his first-team debut before the end of the season.

The highly rated winger has been a standout performer for United’s Under-18s, scoring seven goals in 13 appearances this campaign.

Mantato has also impressed in the FA Youth Cup, netting the decisive goal in United’s quarter-final victory over Arsenal. His performances have caught the attention of Amorim, who included him in first-team training this week at Carrington.

He was joined by fellow academy prospects Reece Munro, Godwill Kukonki, and Jim Thwaites, along with Chido Obi and Harry Amass—both of whom have already made their senior debuts this season.
