He’s an exceptional player – Mikel Arteta reveals attributes of his summer signing
Arsenal are the Premier League most busiest club at the summer transfer window and this is evident in the transfer fee they’ve spent on players this summer.
The North London club on Friday announced the signature of Martin Odegaard and Aaron Ramsdale as they plan to compete for silverware this season.
However, one transfer that has caught the eye is the transfer of Ben White from Brighton and Hove.
Ben White arrived in Arsenal for a transfer fee of £50million this summer and made his Premier League debut against Brentford last Friday.
Though Arsenal lost the match, Arteta has insisted that the club has gotten their hands on an exceptional player who has various attributes.
Speaking to Sky Sport, Arteta stated that
Ben White is an exceptional defender who can play in a back four and very comfortable playing in a back three.
Arteta noted that Ben White has got the league experience, he’s quick, he’s agile, he’s really aggressive in duels.
The Spaniard tactician noted that with the ball, Ben White got special qualities that he needed for the way Arsenal play, to make all the processes better and for the team to be composed and dominant in games like they want to be.
Ben White will be eager to display all this attributes when the Gunners host a Chelsea side that now have Romelu Lukaku up front on Sunday.
