Haaland names one Arsenal player that would improve Man City
Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland, has named Arsenal “rival” Martin Odegaard as the player that would improve them if he swapped teams in the summer.
So far, Odegaard has made 141 appearances for the Gunners since he joining them from Spanish club Real Madrid.
During that period, he has scored 33 goals and created 23 assists.
The 25-year-old midfielder was handed the Gunners’ captain’s armband by manager Mikel Arteta in July 2022.
It is unlikely that the Gunners would allow a key player like Odegaard move to a rival club like Man City.
When asked if City would be a “better team” with his Norway international teammate Odegaard in the side, Haaland said: “Yes, I think so.
“There’s a good player, and a player that plays for our rivals.
“He’s just signed a new contract, so it’s not a topic, but at City we have a lot of best players in the world.”
