Guardiola tips Arsenal to win EPL title if Man City lose to Tottenham

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has revealed Arsenal would win the Premier League title this season if his side should lose to Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday.

The Citizens will return to action today when they play against the Hotspurs, with one more game at hand.

Man City, who are chasing an unprecedented fourth straight top-flight English league title, are one point behind toppers Arsenal.

If Guardiola’s men defeat the Hotspurs, they will be confirmed champions again with another win at home to West Ham on the final day of the season on Sunday.

So far, Man City have scored 28 goals in their past seven Premier League matches and conceded just five times.

Guardiola, in a pre-match statement on Monday, said fifteen goals in four matches was brilliant as it gave City the points to be at the second spot.

He, however, stressed that it doesn’t give his side an extra thing for tomorrow when they take on the Hotspurs.

Guardiola stated that if his side doesn’t defeat Tottenham, then they are not going to win the Premier League title this season.

Recall that Arsenal were close to winning the title last season before Man City beat them to it.
