Former Arsenal player Cesc Fabregas shared his opinion about Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.

Fabregas who expressed his likeness for  Haaland, referred to the Norway international as a goal machine.

The former Chelsea midfielder in a statement via Planet Premier League stressed that defenders cannot get complacent against Haaland, who signed for Man City from German side Borussia Dortmund.

Fabregas who rated Haaland highly said he wished he played with a striker of his calibre, adding that defenders will always need to be on their toes to stop him.

However, unlike Fabregas, some football fans and pundits, however, don’t share the same sentiments as they said that Haaland does not show up during big games when he is needed.

Former Chelsea defensive midfielder, John Obi Mikel in viral report slammed the Norway star, saying he has a tendency to go missing when Man City needed him most.

Fabregas’ comment about Haaland comes ahead of Arsenal’s weekend game against Man City at Etihad Stadium.

The game is expected to be tough as both sides will be hoping to bounce back with a win after they were held to goaless draw in their respective Champions League opener during the week.
