End of the race: Liverpool kick Arsenal out of FA Cup

One of the games many looked out for over the weekend was the match between Arsenal and Liverpool in the FA Cup tournament.

The match saw Liverpool led by Jurgen Klopp eliminate the North London club in a 2-0 scoreline.

Arsenal were looking to bounce back with a win following successive defeats to West Ham and Fulham in the Premier League.

However, the Gunners failed to make their first-half dominance count, with Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard missing good chances.

The North London men continued to dictate the game after the break but fell behind to an own goal from Jakub Kiwior.

While they were attempting to score an equalizer, Arsenal were hit on the break, with Luis Diaz finishing smartly past Aaron Ramsdale.

Jurgen Klopp’s men will now await the draw for the fourth round of the competition.
