Arsenal have received a boost in their pursuit of Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, with sources informing TEAMtalk that the player is very pleased with the offer presented by the Gunners.

Eze, widely regarded as one of the Premier League’s most exciting attacking midfielders, has attracted interest from several top clubs following another impressive campaign at Selhurst Park. Since joining Palace in 2020, the 26-year-old has contributed 40 goals and 28 assists across 167 appearances, solidifying his status as a key figure for the South London club.

While Manchester United and Newcastle United have also expressed interest in Eze, it is Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur who are currently leading the race for his signature. Sources confirm that Eze has a £68 million release clause in his Palace contract, and although the Eagles are open to receiving the fee in instalments, they are insisting on at least £45 million being paid upfront.

Arsenal made their formal offer to Eze on June 26, and according to TEAMtalk, the England international is highly receptive to the proposed deal. While personal terms are not expected to be an obstacle, the competition remains fierce, with Spurs still keen to challenge their North London rivals for the player.

Should Arsenal succeed in securing Eze’s signature, he would become a valuable addition to Mikel Arteta’s attacking setup, offering creativity, flair, and versatility in midfield. The coming days could prove crucial as the Gunners push to finalise terms and outpace Tottenham in what could be a significant transfer battle.
