Arteta hails youngster after win against Leicester City
Like Chelsea, Arsenal was one of the top clubs that had an exciting outing in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Gunners manager, Mikel Arteta has singled out youngster Ethan Nwaneri following his impressive form for Arsenal against Leicester City.
Arteta recall how Nwaneri came on during the match against the Foxes and defeated three players. He added that he loved how the midfielder plays
Nwaneri was the centre of attraction for Arteta’s side as they defeated the visitors at Emirates Stadium.
Goals from Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, Wilfred Ndidi (own goal) and Kai Havertz gave Arsenal, all three points they needed to remain in the top four of the league
Speaking about Nwaneri after the game, Arteta said he came on and immediately beat one, two, three players.
“if you want to play here you need to play with that courage,” Arteta said.
Arsenal will be back to action in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday when they play against French giants Paris Saint Germain PSG.
Nwaneri could get another nod to come in from the bench as the Gunners will hope to maintain their form against PSG.
Several of Arteta’s key players are still on the sidelines due to injury.
