Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka has sent an emotional message to former Gunners player Jack Wilshere who is considering retirement at the age of 29.

Jack Wilshere grew up the ranks of Arsenal and was tagged as the next big thing to happen at the club.

However, the England international struggled with injuries and had to leave Arsenal for greener pasture.

This wasn’t the case when he arrived at West Ham as his injury problem continued, a move that saw him move to Bournemouth.

How, it was the same story at Bournemouth with Wilshere not able to stay fit due to constant injury.

The 29-year-old in an extensive interview with The Athletic this week admitted that he was finding it difficult to find the motivation to continue his playing career having been unable to secure a contract with a new club over the summer.

Saka has now sent a message to Wilshere noting that he was an inspiration for younger players at Arsenal and has backed the midfielder to bounce back.
