Arsenal could soon bid goodbye to one of their players this summer transfer window.

This comes as recent report revealed that Leicester City are in contact with the Gunners over a loan deal for winger, Reiss Nelson this summer.

The deal is said to include an obligation to buy him permanently next year.

Leicester City are said to have assured Reiss of regular playing time opportunity which he has not gotten at Arsenal under manager Mikel Arteta.

Popular transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also reported that talks are underway between the clubs.

It is also an opportunity for Leicester City new manager, Steve Cooper to reunite with Reiss, having coached the winger during his time in charge of England Under-16s and Under-17s.

Recall that Reiss rose through the youth ranks at Emirates Stadium and got the opportunity to make his debut for the Gunners under former manager Arsene Wenger in the 2017/18 season.

However, the 24-year-old English star has struggled for game time under Arteta.

Last season, he featured in 23 matches in all competitions for the North London.

With Arsenal looking forward to signing new players this summer, it will be best for Reiss to move elsewhere where he is assured of regular game time.
