Arsenal’s summer transfer activity is in full swing, with major signings already completed and more moves on the horizon.

However, sporting director Andrea Berta will need to carefully navigate player exits to ensure the club can finalise all their targets.

The Gunners have made a strong start to the window, securing the signings of Kepa Arrizabalaga and Martin Zubimendi—both deals completed in the opening week of July. A third signing is also expected shortly, with a £12 million deal for Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard already agreed.

Alongside these confirmed moves, Arsenal are actively pursuing several additional targets. Talks are ongoing for Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres, Chelsea attacker Noni Madueke, and Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera. Despite the excitement surrounding these signings, the club will need to offload players to balance the books and create space in the squad. Andrea Berta faces the task of managing these outgoings to allow Arsenal to continue their ambitious recruitment drive.

With several deals progressing, Arsenal’s transfer strategy is beginning to take shape—though departures will likely be just as important as arrivals in determining the success of their summer business.
