Arsenal midfielder linked to Chelsea signs new deal

Arsenal midfielder, Ethan Nwaneri, has reached a new agreement in principle over an initially four-year contract with the North London club.
This put an end to the doubt on Nwaneri’s future at the Emirates.
Recall that the midfielder has been linked with moves to Chelsea and German side Borussia Dortmund following uncertainties about his future with the Gunners.
The latest update disclosed that the 19-year-old midfielder has taken a decision to sign a new deal, as it was always his “priority” despite interest from other clubs.
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano in a post via his X handle wrote, “Arsenal have reached an agreement in principle with Ethan Nwaneri over new deal!”
Romano disclosed that the talks have been on since last weekend, with Nwaneri and his representatives finally agreeing to sign new contract at the club.
“Ethan always gave priority to #AFC despite interest from several clubs,” he added.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have signed three new players in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The Gunners signed former Chelsea goalie Kepa Arrizabalaga in a deal worth £5million, Martin Zubimendi for £55million from Real Sociedad and Christian Norgaard from Brentford for £12million.
