Arsenal manager shares concern over team discipline records in the league

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has raised concern over his team discipline record for the past few weeks.

Mikel Arteta’s team failed to continue their season comeback against Wolverhampton Wanderers as they lost the match and two players to red card.

Goalkeeper, Leno and experience defender David Luiz were shown red cards and this brought their tally of red cards up to five in the Premier League this season.

Arteta couldn’t hold back his frustrations as he spoke about the development during his press conference

The Spaniard stated that when he was worried about the discipline it was on two occasions with Nico and with Granit as they should avoid that and the team talked about it.

He noted that there are other ones that are moments in the game where in the split of a second you have to make a decision and then a referee has to make a decision as well.

According to Arteta, there is much less to control on his side there as what is clear is that when you have five red cards this period, you are going to lose a lot of points.

Arteta added that If the team would have some of those points, they would be in a completely different position in the table, that’s for sure as there are no teams with five reds up there at the top, it doesn’t happen.
