Arsenal legend tips club to bring in ex player, says he’s a perfect player for Arteta
Former Arsenal playmaker Robert Pires has belief that the club will try and sign Aaron Ramsey whom he insists is a perfect player for the system in place under Mikel Arteta.
Ramsey was one of the most consistent players at Arsenal before things took a dramatic twist when he endured a frustrating one season under Unai Emery.
The talented playmaker spent majority of the season on the sidelines but showed Emery the stuffs he’s made of when he was given a chance to play on his final months.
However, Ramsey was unable to walk his way into the Juventus line up as he was a part time player under Mauricio Sarri, though he won the league.
This has continue this season as Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo favours Dejan Kulusevski and Federico Chiesa for the roles behind the attack, while Weston McKennie is also gaining importance in the first-team.
With this in mind, Pires while speaking with TuttoJuve stated that Ramsey is very intelligent and knows how to adapt everywhere, Juve is a very big club and Serie A is improving him even more.
He noted that Ramsey needs to stay a few more years and then he will return to Arsenal as it’s his belief, though he’s not a fortune teller.
Ramsey who has been reported to be thinking about his future with Juventus has two years left on his contract and has made nine Seria A appearance this season.
