Arsenal Given Ideal Chance to Sign £43m Winger Amid Exit Warning

Arsenal may now have a clear path to sign a highly rated winger this summer, with fresh reports suggesting the player has been urged to “leave now” by those close to him.

The Gunners have been in the market for attacking reinforcements, particularly a striker and a winger, as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.

With Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka currently carrying most of the creative burden out wide, Arsenal are keen to add more depth and competition in the wide areas. The potential departure of this £43 million-rated winger from his current club presents the North London side with an ideal opportunity to make a move.

Arsenal have already been busy early in the transfer window. Deals are reportedly progressing well for Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Nørgaard, and Cristhian Mosquera. These additions would significantly bolster the squad and address the depth issues that hampered their title charge last season, particularly during key periods affected by injuries.

Up front, Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyökeres remain key targets, although no agreement has been finalised. With the striker position still being worked on, securing a top winger could be the next logical step in Arsenal’s transfer plan.

As the window progresses, this emerging opportunity could allow the Gunners to land a top-tier winger without heavy competition, helping to round out Arteta’s attacking options for a season where silverware is firmly in sight.
