Arsenal and Man Utd Urged to Move for £60m Striker Serhou Guirassy

Arsenal and Manchester United have been urged to consider a move for Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy, who is being touted as one of the top No.9s in world football.

Both clubs are looking to strengthen their attacking options this summer. Arsenal have made no secret of their search for a new striker, but their progress has been slow. The Gunners saw their initial offer for Viktor Gyokeres — worth around €55 million (£46.8m) plus €10 million (£8.5m) in add-ons — rejected, and they are yet to submit an official bid for Benjamin Sesko.

Manchester United, meanwhile, have already secured the signing of Matheus Cunha and are reportedly making progress in their pursuit of Bryan Mbeumo, as they look to reinforce their attack under new manager Ruben Amorim. However, reports suggest United remain in the market for a more traditional centre-forward, particularly with uncertainty surrounding Rasmus Hojlund’s future.

Former England striker Gary Lineker has now weighed in, encouraging both clubs — and other Premier League sides — to consider Guirassy as a viable option. Lineker described the Borussia Dortmund forward as a “top player” and believes he could be an ideal addition for teams seeking a proven goalscorer.

With a reported £60 million price tag, Guirassy could emerge as an intriguing option in the transfer market. As the summer window progresses, both Arsenal and Manchester United may be tempted to take a closer look at the prolific striker to bolster their respective squads.
