A wrong transfer for Gunners: Arsenal advised against move for Zubimendi

Arsenal have been advised to turn their attention away from Real Sociedad star Martin Zubimendi.
Former Manchester United star, Paul Scholes in a recent statement shared why the £51m star would be a wrong transfer for Arsenal.
Scholes cited Zubimendi’s game Manchester United against Real Sociedad in the UEFA Europa League.
It would be recall that Zubimendi has already agreed personal terms with Arsenal ahead of a summer transfer.
With the look of things, Arsenal are favourite to sign Zubimendi ahead of Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
With an agreement already reached with the Real Sociedad star, the North London club only have an announcement to make.
But Scholes believes it could be a deal that could go bad for Arsenal.
Speaking on The Overlap, Scholes said there is no spot for Zubimendi to fill at Emirates Stadium.
“I think Declan Rice can do that role [defensive midfielder]. I saw Zubimendi against Man United for Sociedad and I was not impressed,” the former Man Utd star said.
Scholes added that he remains in doubt of whether Zubimendi could fill that hole.
We will have to wait the summer to see what plans manager Mikel Arteta have for Zubimendi in his squad.
