Ahead of the new season, Arsenal are set to add new players to their squad led by Mikel Arteta.
One of the players on the Gunners’ list is Man City striker Gabriel Jesus.
A report via The Times revealed the North London side are confident of signing Jesus this summer transfer window.
There are claims that the Brazilian is also keen to move to the Emirate stadium.
However, Man City expect Arsenal to increase their offer which is short of their £ 50 million valuation.
Mikel Arteta has reportedly made signing the Man City star one of his priorities this summer.
However, Arteta is aware that Jesus is set to enter the final year of his contract at City and the North London club don’t want to pay over the top for the player.
Arsenal will be playing in the UEFA Europa League next season, having finished in the top six last season.
