Former Chelsea star tips this Arsenal player for a Ballon d’Or

Former Chelsea star Pat Nevin in a recent statement, said Arsenal player Tierney Kieran deserves to win a Ballon d’Or.

Arsenal signed Kieran for around £25m in 2019 from Celtic, and he has gone on to become a fan’s favourite at Emirates stadium.

There are also speculations that with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang now in Spanish club Barcelona, Tierney is in line to become Arsenal captain next season.

Also, his value has increased beyond the £25m Arsenal paid to Celtic to sign Tierney, and Nevin recalled he advised his former club Chelsea to make a move for the Scot.

“Kieran is already one of the best footballers on the planet,” Nevin said, according to Metro.

“I genuinely believe he can go on to win the Ballon d’Or.

‘Only one defender – Fabio Cannavaro, has ever won that prize, but KT can emulate him.”
