Chelsea star wants Kai Havertz to move to Stamford Bridge

Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger has sent a reasonable message to Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Kai Havertz amid transfer rumours connecting him with a move to Stamford Bridge.

The talented young midfielder has shone in his time with Bayer Leverkusen, building up himself as probably the greatest talent and looking set to definitely seal a major move sooner rather than later.

Ivisionaport have connected Kai Havertz as a top  transfer target for Chelsea this summer, and his teammate Antonio Rudiger has made it understood he’d love to see him move to Stamford Bridge.

Antonio Rudiger reacted to the theory by saying: Kai is skilled, when I saw him train with the Germany national team I was like, ‘goodness!’

I would lie you if I said I didn’t need him at Chelsea.

Blues fans will trust Kai Havertz gets the message, as the youngster could be a perfect long term replacement for Eden Hazard, who has been missed since he left the club for Real Madrid the previous summer.

Chelsea were under a transfer ban at that point so couldn’t generally fill that void in their attack, but Kai Havertz is a comparatively skilful and imaginative player who could be perfect alongside new signings Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner to give Frank Lampard an a lot more grounded squad for next season.
